Does anyone know of the closest hot spring from Seattle that would be open tomorrow? Thanks

Re: Hot Springs From Seattle
Sun, December 31, 2006 - 2:19 AMGoldmyer is open though reservations are required and the office may already be closed for the holiday weekend. At last check the Middle Fork Road is 4wd accessible all the way to the river ford.
Olympic HS is possibly accessible depending on the snow conditions on the Elwa Road in the park, making it a 2 mile or 11 mile hike depending on how far you are allowed to drive.
Scenic is closed and inaccesible for now.
A few updates and directions are at: nudehiker.com

Goldmyer: Goldmyer is approximately 25 miles east of North Bend, WA on the S.E. Middle Fork Road (FS Road 56). Driving instructions can be obtained from the Goldmyer offices, located at 202 N. 85th, #106, Seattle, WA. 98103. Our telephone number is (206)789-5631. The office is staffed on an infrequent basis (usually Tuesday afternoons and Friday evenings), so be sure you call well ahead of your intended visit. Reservations are always recommended, and during the busy summer season, required to assure access. We limit access to 20 people per day. Call far enough in advance so that we have a chance to call back and confirm your reservation. The entry fee of $12.00 per adult per day grants you access to the property for either a short day visit or an overnight stay of up to 24 hours. Check-in time is from 8:00 am to 10:00 pm. Check out time for an overnight stay is 12:00 noon. Children are free, and must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times. Memberships are available for folks who intend to visit frequently. Maximum group size is 12. Reservations for all must be paid in full in advance. We accept credit cards for advance payments but not at the springs. The cost for use of the property is $12 per day per person . Memberships for a discounted rate are available for purchase. Contact the office for information, reservations and detailed directions. If you desire, use of the property can include camping in one of several beautiful wilderness campsites overlooking the river.
Goldmyer is traditionally clothing-optional and is definitely Nudist and Naturist-friendly.
Olympic: You probably won't find this beautiful spot on any new Olympic National Park maps as the Parks Service has been trying to de-emphasize the springs. However, all the rangers I have spoken to will happily answer any questions you have.
Once on the Olympic Pennisula, follow Highway 104 across Hood Canal Bridge and take Highway 101 north and west through Port Angeles. If you wish to bypass the busy downtown area, turn left on Race Street and follow it to Lauridsen Boulevard. Turn right and Lauridsen and re-join Highway 101 at the west end of town. Follow Highway 101 about 9 miles to the Elwha River Road and turn left on the Elwha River Road.
Be prepared to pay a $10 per carload fee (if you don't have an annual Parks or Goldern Eagle Pass) at the Olympic National Park entrance station, about 2 miles up the Elwha River Road at the park boundary. Continue up the road another 3 miles past the Elwha Ranger Station and Whiskey Bend Road Junction.
Stay right at the junction and follow the Elwha River Road across the bridge, climbing past Altaire Campground on your right for another 5 miles to the Olympic Hot Springs Trailhead. The trail is an old roadbed that leads 2.5 miles to the hot springs. A sign warns of "Nudity" up ahead at the springs.
Four decades ago, you would have found a hotel and tiled hot spring pools for bathing, but park officials have let the area revert to its natural state. Today the pools are constructed and maintained by the people that use them.
To find the pools, walk through the old parking lot above Boulder Creek to the trail leading upstream. Follow it about 200 yards to a footbridge, cross it and turn left on trails that lead to the pools. Look for way trails leading uphill into the forest and follow them to the pools. The pools get better the further and higher in you go. At last count, I noted 15 rock pools of various sizes.

Re: Hot Springs From Seattle
Wed, October 31, 2007 - 7:15 PMA new gate has been put up by the forest service about 4 miles from the river crossing and a foot bridge over the river. So bring a mountain bike or be prepared to hike 4.5 miles, with 4 miles on a dirt road. Have fun!!!
